What you can and can't download
The downloader works reliably for public TikTok videos. Instagram reels are best-effort: Instagram now requires a login to access most videos and blocks automated fetching, so Instagram links frequently fail. If a post is private, age-restricted, or login-required, it can't be fetched, and the tool never bypasses logins or privacy settings.
When you download, the file is the original video the platform serves, returned to you as an MP4. For TikTok we request the no-watermark rendition where available. Nothing you paste is saved on our side — the link is used once to fetch the video and then discarded.
