Tooltip Kit (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates https://www.tooltipkit.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and isn’t collected when you use our tools, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

Our tools are designed to run entirely in your browser. The files, text, numbers, and other content you enter into a tool are processed on your device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. We do not have a database of your inputs, because there is nothing to store.

Information we do not collect

• The contents of any file you open in a tool (PDFs, images, documents).
• The text, code, or values you type into calculators, converters, and generators.
• Account information — there are no accounts and no sign-up.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics to understand general usage so we can improve the site. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects aggregated, non-identifying information such as the pages you visit, your approximate (city-level) location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This data is processed by Google; see Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

We may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. When enabled, third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. We also use your browser’s local storage to remember light/dark theme preference and to save content you choose to keep in tools like the Online Notepad — that data stays on your device. Some pages link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.

Children’s privacy

Tooltip Kit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect personal information beyond the analytics described above, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your cookies or using the opt-out tools listed.
